
Last week marked an important milestone for the Advanced Multifunctional Ceramics research group at CEITEC BUT, as three of its doctoral candidates successfully defended their PhD theses: Ilya Sokolov, Daniel Valášek, and Lucie Mařáková. We warmly congratulate all three on this significant achievement.
Throughout their doctoral studies, Ilya, Daniel, and Lucie contributed to the group's ongoing research into advanced multifunctional, working closely with their supervisors and fellow group members on shared research questions. Their theses reflect not only individual scientific effort but also the collaborative, joint-research culture that defines the Advanced Multifunctional Ceramics group within the GlaCerHub project.

Over the course of their studies, all three researchers wereactive participants in the wider scientific community. Their work resulted in contributions to peer-reviewed journal publications, and each presented their research at international conferences, gaining valuable feedback and building connections with peers from across the field.

Research stays and internships at partner institutions further broadened their scientific perspective and strengthened GlaCerHub's international collaborative network.
