Knowledge sharing, practical insights and discussions on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) and Technology Transfer successfully concluded another event within the GlaCerHub Training Programme.
From 30 September to 2 October 2026, researchers, PhD students and research management staff gathered at FunGlass – Alexander Dubček University of Trenčín to strengthen their knowledge and skills in intellectual property protection, technology transfer and the commercialisation of research results.

Our GlaCerHub consortium partner INVENIAM guided participants through the journey from research results towards successful technology transfer and commercialisation. The programme introduced key aspects of technology transfer, intellectual property protection, commercialisation and technology promotion, combining theoretical knowledge with practical examples and use cases.
Participants also gained practical insights into market research and the effective presentation and promotion of technologies, helping them better understand how promising research results can be brought closer to the market and potential users.
A big thank you to Elena Canetti, Jesús Purroy, Gilad Luria and Marc Domínguez from INVENIAM for sharing their knowledge, expertise and real-world experience and for preparing such an engaging and valuable training programme.

We would also like to thank all participants for their active involvement, questions and discussions throughout the three days. Their engagement contributed greatly to the interactive atmosphere of the training and provided valuable opportunities for exchanging experiences and perspectives.
Another GlaCerHub training has been successfully completed, representing another step towards strengthening innovation, knowledge valorisation and technology transfer skills within the GlaCerHub community and supporting the connection between excellent research, innovation and real-world applications.
