Building on the theoretical foundations introduced during last year's training, this year's edition takes a significantly more practical approach. Instead of traditional lectures, a small group of selected students and researchers will have the opportunity to explore advanced technologies, experimental procedures and material characterisation methods directly in research laboratories.
The training will take place across several specialised facilities in the Czech Republic:
The programme builds on four key topics: material and powder processing, ceramic sintering and densification, surface treatments and coatings, and the evaluation of material properties and applications.
By bringing participants closer to real research environments, the training aims to strengthen their practical skills, deepen their understanding of advanced materials technologies and encourage knowledge exchange between participating institutions.
Due to the highly specialised and practical nature of the training, participation is limited to a small group of students and researchers. All available places have already been filled.
This event represents another contribution of GlaCerHub to developing research skills, sharing expertise and strengthening cooperation in the field of advanced glass and ceramic materials.
