Ellipsometry is one of the most powerful optical characterization techniques used to investigate thin films and surfaces. The webinar will provide an overview of the fundamental principles of ellipsometry, its practical applications in materials science, and examples of its use in the characterization of coatings and functional materials.

About the Speaker

Dr. Castro Martín has over two decades of research experience in advanced glass and ceramic materials. Her work focuses on sol-gel processing, multifunctional coatings, corrosion protection, photocatalytic materials, and transparent glass-ceramics for optical applications. She has contributed to numerous international research projects and scientific publications in the fields of surface engineering and advanced functional materials.
