Czech Melting Days 2026

On 12–13 November 2026, the GlaCerHub project will bring together approximately 50 participants at Hotel Zámek Valeč  for the Czech Melting Days 2026. Organised by CEITEC BUT, this fully booked two-day event will focus on research collaboration, innovation, technology transfer and networking.

The meeting will bring together researchers, representatives of academic institutions, innovation experts and entrepreneurs, providing an opportunity to exchange experiences, establish new connections and explore potential collaborations.

From Research to Innovation

The first day will highlight the journey from scientific research to practical innovation and entrepreneurship, featuring presentations by two emerging spin-off companies, Ceraprint and Scion Technology (soon to be funded).

Participants will also explore international research careers, prestigious fellowship opportunities and the evaluation of research and innovation results, with contributions from researchers with international experience and representatives of the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic.

Networking and Knowledge Exchange

An important part of Czech Melting Days will be dedicated to networking and bilateral discussions. Short presentations will give participants an opportunity to introduce their organisations, share expertise and identify common interests.

The informal atmosphere will encourage open discussions, new partnerships and opportunities for future cooperation.

Turning Scientific Excellence into Business Opportunities

The second day will feature hands-on workshops led by experts from the Spanish Inveniam Group, focusing on transforming scientific results into attractive value propositions and developing effective pitch presentations.

These practical sessions will help participants strengthen their skills in communicating research outcomes and presenting innovative technologies to potential industrial partners and customers.

Strengthening the GlaCerHub Innovation Ecosystem

Czech Melting Days 2026 reflects the broader mission of GlaCerHub – connecting research, industry and innovation ecosystems to support knowledge exchange, technology transfer and research-driven innovation.

With approximately 50 confirmed participants and all available places already filled, the organisers look forward to two inspiring days of discussions, knowledge sharing and new connections in Valeč.

We look forward to welcoming all participants to Czech Melting Days 2026!
