GlaCerHub is delighted to announce a webinar by Prof. Shengli Jin, an internationally recognized researcher in refractory materials, digital engineering, and artificial intelligence applications in high-temperature industries.

About the Webinar

Artificial intelligence is transforming materials science by accelerating research, improving process optimization, and enabling predictive design. During this webinar, Prof. Jin will present recent developments at the Institute of Digital and Ecological High Temperature Materials (I-D-E-M) and demonstrate how AI technologies are being applied to refractory and ceramic materials research.

The presentation will cover:

  • AI-based materials design and optimization
  • Digitalization of refractory manufacturing
  • Intelligent process monitoring
  • Data-driven materials engineering
  • Digital twin technologies for industrial furnaces
  • Future perspectives of AI in refractory science

‍

About the Speaker

Prof. Shengli Jin obtained doctoral degrees from both Wuhan University of Science and Technology and Montanuniversität Leoben in Austria. His research bridges materials science, numerical simulation, artificial intelligence, and digital engineering. He is widely known for his work on thermo-mechanical behavior of refractories, multiscale modeling, constitutive material models, and intelligent high-temperature material systems. Recently, he has been actively involved in the development of AI-powered digital platforms and intelligent engineering tools for the refractory industry.

Join us to discover how digital technologies and AI are driving the next generation of refractory materials development and sustainable high-temperature industrial processes.

The webinars are organized within the GlaCerHub project. Participation is free of charge.
