EVENT 1 of the GlaCerHub Training Programme to be held in Brno

We are honored to welcome two distinguished experts from CEITEC BUT:

• Ing. Martin Juliš, Ph.D., Senior Researcher at HPMC4I
• Ing. Pavel Gejdoš, Ph.D., Junior Researcher at HPMC4I

Both researchers are valued members of the High-Performance Materials and Coatings for Industry (HPMC4I) research group, led by Assoc.Prof. Ladislav Čelko. They are widely recognized for providing expert services to industrial partners across the Czech Republic and neighboring countries.

This unique two-day event, taking place on 20–21 May 2026, differs from other GlaCerHub Training Programme events in that it:

• is structured into only two modules;
• places strong emphasis on hands-on practical experience;
• provides direct access to specialized equipment and laboratory facilities.

The two modules of EVENT 1 are:

• Basics of Materialography in Technical Practice;
• Advanced Materialography for Laboratory Specialists.

Due to the intensive and highly practical nature of the training, participation will be limited to 6–8 attendees. While we regret that we cannot accommodate a larger audience for this specialized event,we encourage you to follow our communication channels for updates on future GlaCerHub Training Programme activities.
