This year, five PhD students from the FunGlass Centre and CEITEC BUT participated in the GlaCerHub JCMM Internship Competition.
Our consortium partner, the South Moravian Centre for International Mobility (JCMM), organized its traditional competition for PhD students whose research projects align with GlaCerHub’s thematic priorities. The 2025 cohort included three men and two women. Their proposals were evaluated by a committee of three distinguished senior researchers.

The evaluation was conducted jointly by representatives from FunGlass Trenčín and CEITEC BUT:
Following a rigorous review process, the results were as follows:
1st place – Ing. Daniel Valášek (CEITEC BUT).
2nd place – Ing. Eliška Šiška Virágová (CEITEC BUT).
Both awardees will receive an eight-month part-time contract with JCMM (0.4 FTE) to support their research activities, advance their doctoral studies, and achieve the objectives of their projects.
