The most obvious type of resource in science is funding: grants, scholarships, and other financial support used to carry out research and to cover necessary materials and equipment. However, resources extend far beyond financial means. In science, resources also include people (human resources), the atmosphere they create, the opportunities they provide, and the support they offer — whether at the level of the individual, the research group, the institution, the region, or the country.

This event aims to bring together scientists and those who are interested in – and invested in – scientific progress: people of all genders, across a wide range of positions and life situations. Only through such diversity can discussions be truly impactful and authentic.

An engaging session dedicated to exploring resources and opportunities in the world of science and innovation. This event brings together voices from academia, industry, and international institutions to discuss the evolving landscape for both men and women, parents and non-parents, in the Czech Republic and also abroad.
