Summary of the GlaCerHub Training Programme - Research Projects Development and Management & Building Capacities for Sustainable Innovation, Brno (23–25 September 2025)
Another event under the GlaCerHub Training Programme has successfully concluded at CEITEC BUT in Brno. This training activity brought together researchers, project managers, PhD students, and innovation leaders for three days of intensive training focused on research project development, grant writing, project management, and sustainable innovation.
🔹 Day 1 kicked off with Research Projects Development and Management I led by Zuzana Reptová. Participants explored the fundamentals of grant proposal development, academic and technical writing, and strategies for building strong, international research consortia.
🔹 Day 2 continued with in-depth sessions by Zuzana Reptová and Peter Hošták on project planning, structuring ideas into impactful outcomes, and preparing final assignments. In the afternoon, Gabriela Čičmancová introduced Building Capacities for Sustainable Innovation, focusing on talent management, mentoring, onboarding, and fostering diverse and resilient teams.
🔹 Day 3 concluded with Building Capacities for Sustainable Innovation II by Zuzana Reptová, where participants examined the R&I policy landscape, global and regional frameworks such as the EU R&I Strategic Plan, RIS3 strategies, European Green Deal, and UN SDGs, as well as insights into FP10 and transnational funding schemes.
Over three days, the programme delivered not only practical knowledge and tools, but also created space for networking, collaboration, and innovation exchange among participants from across Europe.
