Join NSFE2026 in Prague: Exploring the Frontiers of Nanometrology

The 9th edition of the NANOscientific Forum Europe will be held at the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Charles University, Prague, Czech Republic from September 09 – 11, 2026.

We are delighted that GlaCerHub consortium partner, Activair, is co-organizing the upcoming NANOscientific Forum Europe 2026 (NSFE2026), part of the global NANOscientific Symposium Series dedicated to advances in nanoscale imaging and surface characterization.

📅 9–11 September 2026
📍 Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Charles University, Prague, Czech Republic

NSFE2026 will bring together researchers, engineers, students, and industry professionals from materials science, life sciences, nanotechnology, and surface analysis to exchange ideas, discover emerging technologies, and build new collaborations.

The event will be hosted by Dr. Martin Rejhon (Charles University), a leading expert in epitaxial graphene on silicon carbide, together with Dr. Shirly Espinoza (ELI Beamlines).

What to Expect:

🔹 Expert presentations from leading international researchers.
🔹 Hands-on sessions with state-of-the-art instrumentation.
🔹 Networking opportunities with academia and industry.

This year's programme will highlight the latest developments in nanotechnology, with dedicated sessions on 2D materials and Imaging Spectroscopic Ellipsometry, alongside topics such as bio-applications, electrochemistry, advanced characterization techniques, and surface and thin-film metrology.

Live Instrument Demonstrations

Participants will have the opportunity to experience cutting-edge instruments in action, including:

• Park NX10 AFM
• Park NX20 AFM with sMIM
• Park NX1 AFM
• Park Accurion EP4 Imaging Ellipsometer
• Park Lyncée Tec Digital Holographic Microscope (DHM)

These demonstrations will showcase advanced capabilities in high-resolution imaging, electrical and magnetic property mapping, and optical characterization across a wide range of applications, from advanced materials to semiconductor technologies.

As in previous years, NSFE2026 will combine excellent scientific content with a welcoming atmosphere and numerous opportunities for informal networking.
