GlaCerHub Partner JCMM Engages Visitors at the Festival of Science and Technology 2026
From 4 to 6 September 2026, GlaCerHub consortium partner JCMM – South Moravian Centre for International Mobility took part in the Festival of Science and Technology Brno 2026, held at the Brno Exhibition Centre.
The festival welcomed visitors of all ages to more than 100 interactive stands, science shows and workshops, offering an opportunity to experience science and technology in an engaging and accessible way.
At its stand, JCMM introduced visitors to several areas of its activities. The programme included career guidance and counselling for gifted students, a creative workshop, puzzles and logical games, a “Mini Science Window” and an information point. Through these activities, JCMM encouraged young people, students, parents and other visitors to discover opportunities connected with science, technology, education and future careers.
As a member of the GlaCerHub consortium, JCMM contributes its expertise particularly in dissemination, education and talent attraction. Its participation in public events such as the Festival of Science and Technology also reflects the broader GlaCerHub ambition to strengthen links between research, regional organisations and society, while increasing citizens’ engagement with science and innovation.
Events of this kind provide an important opportunity to bring science closer to the public, inspire the next generation of researchers and innovators, and strengthen the regional innovation ecosystem that lies at the heart of the GlaCerHub project.
