The rector of BUT, Assoc. prof. Ing. Ladislav Janíček, Ph.D., MBA, LL.M., invited Přemysl Šťastný and Eliška Šiška Virágová, th funders of company Ceraprint, to sign a spin-off contract at the BUT rectorate.

What started as an internal research project 4Slurries – focused on ceramic suspensions for light-based 3D printing, is now moving one step further – towards practical material solutions for ceramic additive manufacturing.

CEITEC BUT researchers Přemysl Šťastný with Eliška Šiška Virágová, both members of the Advanced Ceramics Materials research group, had recently funded a limited company Ceraprint s.r.o. with focus on material systems development and prototype solutions for research teams, universities, R&D departments and industrial partners working with ceramic 3D printing.

Ceraprint portfolio includes:

▫️ ceramic suspensions for light-based 3D printing,

▫️ polymer premixes for custom slurry development,

▫️ 3D printed ceramic test samples,

▫️ prototype printing of ceramic components,

▫️ debinding and sintering support,

▫️ custom material development,

▫️ technology consulting and process optimization.

Supporting the full material-to-part workflow — from ceramic powder selection and slurry formulation to printability testing, prototype production, thermal processing and final sample evaluation.

Ceraprint builds on academic know-how from Vysoké učení technické v Brně the CEITEC - Central European Institute of Technology. Company goal is to help research and R&D teams move faster from material ideas to printable and sintered ceramic parts.
