The GlaCerHub Training Programme: Financial Literacy for Research Activities has been successfully completed. The three-day onsite event, held from 3 to 5 December 2025 at the FunGlass Centre in Trenčín, brought together researchers, project managers, and administrative staff seeking to strengthen their financial competencies within the research environment.

Participants engaged in an intensive programme focused on improving their ability to prepare, manage, and monitor budgets for Horizon Europe and other research projects. Through hands-on exercises, practical discussions, and real-world examples, attendees gained valuable knowledge that they can directly apply in their professional activities.

Highlights of the Training

• The training attracted active and enthusiastic participants who contributed to a collaborative learning atmosphere.
• Instructors shared deep expertise, offering practical insights into financial procedures, budgeting strategies, and analytical approaches used in research project management.
• Hands-on exercises enabled participants to practice financial planning tools, interpret financial indicators, and solve budgeting challenges typical for research institutions.
