Competition for PhD Students of Brno Universities
Our consortium partner, the South Moravian Centre for International Mobility (JCMM), is launching its traditional competition for talented PhD students enrolled at Brno universities. The initiative aims to support the most promising young researchers and help them further develop their scientific careers.
About the competition
The call is open to students who:
- are enrolled in the first year of a doctoral study programme (full-time form) by 18 November 2025,
- pursue studies in natural sciences or technical disciplines,
- are registered at one of the four partner universities in Brno.
The entire competition is conducted in English. Out of all applicants, the 25 best candidates will be selected to receive a grant. The winners will convince an expert jury of the exceptional quality of their past achievements and the scientific value of their proposed project.
Why apply?
Young researchers from CEITEC BUT are among the frequent awardees of these prestigious grants, which are provided by the Statutory City of Brno as part of the Regional Innovation Strategy. The programme is implemented by JCMM, z. s. p. o.
